Raju Lama, Nepali Singer was born on 16th March, 1978 in Baruwa 1, Sunchaur of Sindhupakchowk to parents Sukhbir and Yangchun Lama. At the age of five he moved over to Kathmandu with his sister. He started his early education and completed his SLC from Siddhartha Vanasthali School in Kathmandu. In school life he performed many times at school shows, continuously drawing his inspiration form the veteran singer late Arun Thapa. Raju Lama has started recording commercially in 1993 on the vocals of Mongolian Hearts. He is one of the few artists who is in constant demand for the shows. His musical career was launched with the release of his self-titled band album “Mongolian Heart, Vol-1”. He has spent over 15 years in music

 He is tender, polite and he is also a media-manHe is also one of the most loved persona in the industry. Four years after the release of Mongolian Heart, Vol-4, ‘Mongolian Heart, volume- 5’ was released some few months back. As usual, it topped the charts in Nepal. The hit number of Raju Lama like, “uuvo uuvo khasa”, “Parkhaima”, “Timilai Dhekhera”, “Sayad timro Batoma” etc. The song “Shayad timro baatoma mero paila nahola…” reminds one of the song that is catchy, and rhythmic. A song that made Raju Lama of the Mongolian Heart of many. “Solitni” the first album with 8 songs was released in 1994. “Baadaluma Luki Basne” was the highlight of the album in an average seller.
